Client is very pleased with the state of the site. As a finishing touch, we should add Cancel buttons to publication / editing forms so that the user does not need to use the browser nav arrows. Also a few more recipes.
This week, we did not publish any features. Several ideas were in progress but nothing in a presentable state. Client cannot say he is not disappointed.
Site is progressing very well and client is impressed with recipe publishing capabilities. The next order of business is to add community features like following, reviews, and favorites; as well as image uploading
Registration and login is working great. Now that profiles are enabled, client would like to see the ability to edit them. Current recipes are insufficient, we will plan to have every member publish 10 recipes by next week. Time to start working on personalized home page.
Client is glad to see the recipe webpage working, but the design is lacking. We have mostly been doing backend work but we need to spend more time improving the site's appearance.
The basic site is up, so it's time to start adding example recipes and demonstrate the ability to search. First objects to be designed should be the Recipes and Users.
This week we presented our plans for the full-stack architecture. Python, flask. SQLite, AWS. Now that the database schema is finalized, we need to actual initialize it and get a proof of concept online by next week.
For our first sprint meeting, we need to have a planned database schema and understand the relationships between object types.
